This rework of Ennio Morricone’s “Playing Love”, the immortal theme from “The Legend of 1900”, originates from a reflection on one of the most distinctive aspects of Morricone’s writing: the silence between the notes. If a pause ends a moment too early, or lasts a moment too long, the entire emotional structure collapses.
